Keep your Bathroom Free of Clutter.
Clear out the cabinet and put away day-to-day toiletries. Clear surfaces will make the room look bigger. Hide rubber ducks and other toys.
Clean your Bathroom.
Bathrooms must be extra clean. Scrub basins and baths on a daily basis and get rid of any scale or staining with a lime scale remover. Make sure any drapes or blinds are free of dust. Don't forget to clean basin and lavatory inside and out and remember to close the toilet lid.
Replace Dirty Grouting and Sealant.
Grubby grout should be removed and replaced. If your tiles have seen better days, bleach them, or if that doesn't work, replace them. If your bathroom is small, tiling every wall completely will make it seem bigger. Check the sealant around the bath, shower tray and sink. If it looks dirty replace it.
Replace Old Light Fittings.
If the light fitting looks dated, replace it.
Ensure you have a Good Sized Mirror.
Make sure your bathroom has a good-sized mirror. This will help to reflect light and make the room look bigger. The mirror could be on the front of a cabinet or you could add a wall mirror with lights.
Bathroom Refurbishment.
If you are considering a bathroom make over prior to selling, may we advise a white suite, modern or traditional and complementary tiling and floor covering.
Heating.
If it's cold outside keep the bathroom warm.
